By getting to level 80 you get enough hero points to unlock all the core ranger skills and traits, so to get druid you then need to do hero challenges, you get 1 per
Just started playing and really enjoying the game , quickly hit 80 , now trying to figure out quickest way to get hero points to go from engineer to machinist ? I bought the expansion packs so have all of them.
That said, at 80 you'll have far more Hero Points than you need to buy everything - all traits, skills, and unlocks. So you only need to be careful how you spend Hero Points up till around level 45 or so, after which you start accumulating them faster and faster, and can splurge and experiment more. You automatically receive the following
If I made a level 80 boosted, and wanted to then spend my gems on unlocking an elite class immediately, I now can. Whether that was gems with gold or swiped - My pay to boost level 80 character with paid max skill points is completely identical to anyone else's level 80 with max skill points. Unfortunately it is a noob trap.
cost and unlock order for skills and traits in the. Short Bow Proficiency. Guardian Warrior Elementalist Necromancer. Firebrand. Beastmastery. Traits • Training. Specializations. Deadly Arts • Critical Strikes • Shadow Arts • Acrobatics • Trickery Daredevil • Deadeye • Specter. Elementalist.
The other way to get hero points is from the open world hero points in the expansion maps that are worth 10 points each; a far more efficient way to get points. So really you don't have much of a choice when it comes to avoiding exploring the open world while maxing your specs. My only suggestion might be to follow a hero point train.
In old GW2, you can progress/advance your character without having fine motor skills. In HoT, you can not level/advance your character just by playing the normal content. You have to acquire mastery and hero points. Most of those mastery/hero points are behind some kind of jumping puzzle. This is painful for me.
1.) Start the Heart of Thorns Story. This will unlock the new areas and get your hero points faster and mastery system. 2.) There are no traditional quests like you are use to in wow talk to npc A, kill B, etc. XP is much more based around the events, killing mobs and getting hero points, mastery points, etc.
